About Chad/Testimonials:
Chad utilizes his education, training, and experience in sport psychology, applied positive psychology, performance psychology, organizational psychology, educational psychology, counseling psychology, coaching, and leadership to help people, teams, and organizations be their best.
He has presented and consulted throughout the United States and internationally.
Previously, he served as an Instructor of Professional Development Programs in the Center for Character and Leadership Development at the United States Air Force Academy.
Chad taught introduction to sport psychology to undergraduate students, advanced athletic coaching and leadership in athletic administration to graduate students at Springfield College as an Assistant Professor while concurrently serving on the Faculty Senate.
He has practiced martial arts, meditation, and yoga along with playing many sports during his lifetime. Chad has completed one marathon and multiple 1/2 marathons. Currently he is loving golf, skiing, and pickleball!
As a youth, Chad competed competitively in tennis, soccer, and skiing. He was top 20 in the nation in singles in junior tennis, ranked #1 in Northern California boys singles and doubles, and #1 in the state of Nevada as a junior. He went on to play Division I tennis at University of Nevada, where he was the team captain and the #1 singles and #1 doubles player competing against the top players and teams in collegiate tennis. Chad graduated Cum Laude from the Honors Program at University of Nevada, and earned All-American Academic Honors and All-Conference Academic Honors as a Division I student-athlete. In Chad’s senior year he earned the Stan Bates Award, in honor of the former WAC Commissioner, given to the top male and female scholar-athletes that recognizes athletic, academic, and community accomplishments.
He has coached collegiate tennis at the Division I level, Division III, and Junior College at University of Nevada, San Diego State University, University of Hawaii, Springfield College, Grossmont Junior College, and University of Northern Colorado. During his collegiate coaching career he has mentored and coached the #1 doubles team in the nation in Division I, the #8 singles player in the nation, the #28 ranked men’s team in Division I that went on to the 2nd Rd of the NCAA Team Tournament, and the Mountain West Champions. Along with these athletic accomplishments, he has coached hundreds of student-athletes helping them achieve All-American and All-Conference athletic and academic honors.
